Get cooking – with a teacher or by yourself
Whether you are a foodie who entertain flamboyantly or a bit more cautious in the kitchen, Prince Albert has the kind of atmosphere that gets you cooking. You may settle for a braai with good Karoo lamb and a salad with what you pick up at the Saturday Markie or you could go all out and put together a banquet of local produce – think cheese, figs, olives, bread – hmmm.
A cooking course may be just the thing to inspire. You could do a quick half day course or indulge in a cooking retreat lasting several days.
Here we put together all the information you need to bring out the cook in you – we divided the information into categories for cooking courses, bakeries and places you can buy the local produce you want. We do not want you to find out at the end of your stay that you have missed some delectable tit bit just because you did not know about it!
Keep an eye on the special events calendar for additional cooking classes
