Activity knows no boundaries here
What do you get when you combine incredible natural beauty, endless roads and a safe environment? An urge to get active, of course!
Prince Albert presents an activity for every level of enthusiasm.
If a gentle stroll on a farm or a friendly set of tennis is your thing, you are in the right place. If you are an adrenaline junky, be our guest – shoot down the Swartberg Pass on your mountain bike or hike into Gamkaskloof.
There are lots of options between the extremes, so get your running shoes, bicycle or hat and explore the endless Karoo.

You can walk the “koppie” trail on the hill behind the village (no permit required).
The path starts at the top of Crosby Street and ends in Klipstreet and can be done in reverse, starting at the corner of Klip and Bergsig Streets.
Wear a hat, sturdy shoes or boots and carry some water.
Wonderful views of the village and the Karoo.
Your hosts or the Tourism Information Office will explain in more detail how to get to the starting point.
