Observatory House

An Old Karoo Cottage, beautifully renovated, consists of two bedrooms.

The main bedroom has a double four poster bed with full en-suite bathroom and the guest room has two single beds with a separate bathroom with shower.  The bedrooms have air-conditioning, heaters and fans.
There is a fireplace for those chilly cold winter nights.
The open-plan kitchen/diningroom is bright and spacious and opens onto a veranda overlooking the splash pool.
In Summer relax next to the splash pool on lounging chairs and soak up the Karoo sun.
An evening braai is ideal whether it’s summer or winter!
There is secure off-street parking. The Gordon’ Koppie hill walk starts just up the road, you can wander round the corner to Gay’s Dairy and Deli and there is an olive grove just across the road.
The house received its name in honour of  the Prince Albert astronomer Albert Jansen, who established his Village Observatory here. Now-a-days Astro Tours offer outings to see the stars – find out more on their web-page.
