Immerse yourself in village life.
There are lots to do if you want to feel what it is like to live in a town like Prince Albert.
Go to the Saturday markie and have a coffee with locals, visit a community project or relax on the stoep with the Prince Albert Friend newspaper.
Don’t forget to go for a picnic or walk a labyrinth and why not visit our library for a good read or to catch up on the latest magazines.
Pop-up Charity ShopPop-up Charity Shop Contact: Di van der Riet Steyn
The Pop-up Charity Shop or ‘Yellow Shop’ is a project of the Thursday Club.
We are situated across the road from the Showroom Theatre.
Open Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 pm to 4pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm.
We sell mainly 2nd hand clothing and shoes and do a roaring trade with visiting teenagers looking for that RETRO look!
Proceeds from the sales support many charitable projects in Prince Albert.
You can drop any pre-loved clothes, shoes, linen and accessories at the shop or the veranda of 15 Pastorie Street, or at Prince of Africa on the veranda of the Swartberg Hotel. You can even phone and we will collect.
