Prince of Africa: Di van der Riet Steyn

Prince of Africa are stockists of Cape Mohair products including super soft blankets and socks. The Cape Mohair socks range from the tough hiking variety, to skiing and golfing, through to smart dress socks. All the beautiful hand-knitted jerseys, beanies, berets, scarves, shawls, and mitts are made in the area by local craftspeople.

Jewellery and silverware also for sale, are designed and made by the owner of the shop, Di van der Riet Steyn.

Other local crafts include beadwork, hand-painted children’s t-shirts, fridge magnets decorated with indigenous flowers, ceramics made by friends of the owner, even the authors of the books are local!

Orders gladly taken and they courier nationally.
